THE GLEN AFFRIC NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE
April 26th 2002 saw the official opening of the Glen Affric National Nature Reserve. The reserve is run in conjunction with Scottish Natural Heritage, the Forstry Commission and the Strathglass Comminuty Council. The Reserve recognises Glen Affric's status as a place with special local natural interest and is set up to protect the nature for people to enjoy and appreciate.
